If you want to, I won't stop you. [She seems comfortable now, at least. She sets her drink down and closes her eyes, trying to purge all of her anger. Arthur might have pissed her off, but it had never been like it was with James. Arthur never insulted her like he did. It wasn't fair for him to have to deal with what James had caused.] But don't feel that you need to in order to make me feel better.

[It takes him a moment to reply, because he's not used to letting anyone in this far. No one sees this part of Arthur, the part that isn't propped up by his absurd notion of loyalty.]

[She leans in further, pressing her lips to his; it's light and soft, quick. It's not sexual, though there's something else that lingers about it. It's sweet.]
